Title: Loyalty
Pairing: Dean/Sam
Rating: NC-17
Summary: One of Sam's nightmares becomes reality.
Author's Notes: The fifth installment of my Werewolf 'Verse. Because this is AU I've been playing around with the whole timeline and Sam's abilities. Please review.
Disclaimer: Everything Supernatural related belongs to Eric Kripke and the CW. Lucky bastards.
Most of my information came from Werewolves Powers and Werewolves

Sam moaned, tilting his head back under the warm spray of the shower. He slid his wet hands over his brother’s shoulders and neck, keeping him close.

Dean was keen on staying right where he was; his lips parted as his mouth glided over Sam’s wet chest and collarbone. His hands slid down Sam’s narrow sides to grasp his ass. Moving up, Dean kissed him as their hips aligned together.

Sam thrust against him, sucking at Dean’s lips and tongue. Dean’s cock was just as hard as his own, and they slid together perfectly. Gasping against Dean’s mouth, Sam rocked his hips with desperate little movements.

“Easy,” Dean murmured, smiling against Sam’s lips. He moved one hand, sliding his fingers between Sam’s ass. Dean fingered his entrance, sliding one digit into the loosened hole.

“Oh fuck.” Sam buried his face against Dean’s throat, whimpering as he moved his hips forward against Dean’s then back onto the finger penetrating him. “Dean, please..”

“Shhh…” Dean added a second finger, pushing deep. His other hand guided Sam to move his hips in tight little circles. Their cocks ground together with the slip slide friction of wet skin. Dean angled his hand and felt the tips of his fingers brush over that wonderful little nub inside his brother’s body.

“Dean!” Sam stiffened as he came, his teeth latching onto his brother’s throat.

The feel of his brother‘s semen splashing on his stomach coupled with the bite sent Dean over the edge, and he grunted as he found his own release. Panting softly, he realized with a start that the water raining down on them from the showerhead had already turned cold.

Sliding his fingers from Sam’s body, Dean rinsed them both off with the chilly water then guided his brother from the shower. He took his time wiping Sam off with a towel that had seen better days.

Sam purred in content, his eyes closed as he allowed Dean to take care of him. He always liked these times, when Dean shed his tough guy exterior and allowed the soft part of himself show. The side that no one else but his brother got to see.

At one in the morning Sam awoke with a gasp, caked in sweat. There was a sharp pain behind his eyes as if he’d been stabbed. Next to him, Dean slept on undisturbed.

Panting, Sam slid out from beneath Dean’s arm and made his way across the dark room to the connecting bathroom. The cold water from the sink felt good on his flushed skin as Sam splashed his face in his attempt to calm himself down.

When he closed his eyes, he could still see the scene so clearly.

The girl was running through the woods. She was thin and frail looking, but fast. She weaved between the trees like she’d done it numerous times, now and again looking over her shoulder with terror in her eyes.

The scene seemed to fast forward, and when it stopped the same girl was tied to a chair in a room lit by a single lamp. She was covered in blood from the numerous cuts coating her body, both shallow and deep. She was still alive despite the blood loss, her head lolling from side to side as her eyes tried to focus.

“Please..” she pleaded in a weak voice.

The man in front of her smiled maliciously, the knife in his hand stained red and dripping. He swung his arm with deadly precision, and the girl started making gurgling sounds as any remaining blood she had left poured from the slice in her throat.

Sam groped for the faucet handle and shut off the water. Keeping his eyes closed, he buried his face in the room’s complimentary hand towel.

He jumped as his brother’s arms wound around his waist from behind.

“Wassamatter, Sammy?” he asked sleepily. Dean pressed a lazy kiss to the back of Sam’s neck, then nuzzled the soft skin. “Bad dream?”

“Yeah… Something like that.” Sam had never had a nightmare that seemed to real; so scary.

“Come back to bed.”

Placing the towel down, Sam allowed Dean to guide him back onto the mattress. It was stiff with wear, but all motel beds were basically the same so neither man noticed.

Sam buried his face in Dean’s neck, clinging to his brother. Dean, for his credit, did not comment. He stroked his fingers over Sam’s back and in his hair, his touch soothing.

Releasing a sigh, Sam closed his eyes and let the sound of his brother’s breathing lull him back to sleep.

In the diner across the street the next morning Dean was finishing up his breakfast. A sudden pain struck his chest so intensely that for a moment he was worried he was having a heart attack.

Across the table, Sam was clutching his own chest, a look of agony on his face.

It only lasted a moment and then the pain was gone as if it had never been.

“What the fuck was that?” Dean rubbed at his chest.

“I have no idea..”

“That poor girl,” their waitress sighed as she placed the bill down on their table, oblivious to the Winchester brothers’ moment of discomfort.

Sam followed her gaze to the small television that was perched on the wall above the main counter. His blood ran cold at the picture of a young woman that had been found murdered the night before.

It was the same woman from his dream.

“So you saw a girl in your nightmare who looked like the one on television,” Dean said, unconcerned as he packed his clothes into his duffle bag.

“It didn’t just look like her, Dean. It was her! I saw her die,” Sam repeated for the umpteenth time since they left the diner.

“So what, you’re psychic now?”

“I don’t know what I am. All I know is I saw that girl die, and then we both feel the same pain the next morning. It means something! I think.. I think she was in Gwen’s pack.”

Dean zipped his bag with more force then was required, the metal teeth whining under the assault. “Bullshit. How would you know that?”

“I’ve been doing research on werewolves,” Sam mumbled, ducking his head. He could feel Dean staring at him. “I want to know all I can, okay? Werewolves can supposedly feel when members of their pack die; that must have been what we felt.”

“Oh give me a break, Sammy. It was a stuck burp or something. Just gas.”

“That we both had at the exact same time? It’s hardly likely.”

Dean made a frustrated sound. “It’s easier to believe that not only did you have some whacked-out dream about a member of Gwen’s pack dying, but we also can feel when she bites the dust?”

“Yes, damn it. It is.”

“Even if this crap were true, what was with the delayed reaction? Or better yet, why the hell should we care? It was probably a hunter like us. One less werewolf in the world. Yay. Gwen’s pack is none of our concern.”

Sam shook his head, sitting down heavily on their rumpled bed. “Dean, she didn’t just die. She was tortured. Whoever killed her kept her alive for hours, just cutting and bleeding her out. Hunting shouldn’t be like that. It’s swift and done with. That was nauseating.”

“What are you suggesting, Sammy? We go back to Wisconsin and the pack? Protect them from this big bad hunter?”

“Not to protect, exactly. Look, I know you think it’s crazy--”

“Shut up, Sammy. It’s not crazy, it’s moronic and we aren’t doing it.”

He picked up his duffle and started from the room.

“You can’t tell me what to do, Dean! I’m going, with or without you.”

Dean froze. He turned around, the look on his face telling Sam he was on dangerous ground. “Come again?”

Sam picked up his chin, looking at Dean defiantly. “You heard me.”

Dean’s eyes narrowed. “This is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done. You think you can make it on your own? Fine. Be my guest.”

When he walked out, Sam didn’t follow.

It wasn’t hard for Sam to locate the same forest in Wisconsin that he and Dean had first encountered the pack. He didn’t question it, figuring it was the same type of instinct that sea turtles used when they came home to lay eggs.

Abandoning the car he’d hotwired, Sam walked through the forest. In his mind’s eye he saw glimpses of his dream. The forest floor was coated in fresh blood and bits of skin. He blinked and the vision was gone.

Feeling he was being watched, Sam spun around to find Gwen, fully clothed this time. Her smile was wicked and hungry.

“I knew you’d return.” Gwen approached, her hips swaying a little beneath her dress. She reached up and touched Sam’s face, tracing over the mole on the side of his nose. “You felt Marissa die.”

“I did.”

Gwen traced over his lips next, seemingly mesmerized. “You’re so delicious. If I’d known that, I would have had you taken at the same time as Dean. You both could have been mine.”

Sam grabbed her wrist, forcing her hand away from his face. “Tell me about the hunter that killed Marissa.”

Gwen tugged her hand away, expression going from flirtatious to angry. “He’s attacked us before. His name is Gordon, I think. Gordon Walker.”

Have been enjoying this werewolf AU immensely, and now that you've brought in mean old bizzerker hunter Gordon, it's just that much closer to perfection. Love how you weave in characteristics of werewolves (seem similar to regular wolf behaviors, from what I can tell). And love the Sam and Dean characters with 'wolfie' traits! A fascinating read so far, and can see delicious possibilities unfolding of where you can take it from here!

Re: Loyalty
thanks! =) yeah, it's true that werewolf behavior is very very similar to real wolves. they're just basically stronger and more on the evil side =3

This just keeps getting better & better!

Ohhhhh Gordon! I hate Gordon. He's the perfect villian, and I'm glad to see him just for the opportunity to see him get his ass kicked again!
kiraynnkiraynn on July 6th, 2007 03:18 pm (UTC)
thank you! =) so far I think Gordon's one of the best SPN baddies. he's not a demon, but he's a wake-up call that not all hunters are good. I love that lol thanks for the comment!

More please! *Mmmmm, alpha Dean....sigh :)* Gordon is such a great villain to use. It's just that absolute fanatic's certainty that what he's doing is right that makes him so creepy. Could he please be eviscerated? Slowly? With Dean's left pinky claw? (Possibly while groping Sam with his other hand during hot bite-y sex?) *Bats eyelashes hopefully*

kiraynnkiraynn on July 7th, 2007 05:00 pm (UTC)
I knew when this verse popped into my head that I'd have to stick Gordon in there somewhere, even though it's way early from the original series. he's just too good at being bad =) Dean and Gordon will meet, that's all I'm gonna say ;)
shelgrainger2shelgrainger2 on July 9th, 2007 02:18 pm (UTC)
That was a great chapter. Cannot believe Dean let Sammy go, surely he knows it is dangerous. Silly boy! I just hope nothing bad happens. Looking forward to more soon hopefully!
