Title: Hunt
Pairing: Dean/Sam (slight unrequited Madison/Sam)
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Sam disappears just as someone else pops back into Dean's life whether he wants them to or not.
Author's Notes: The eleventh installment of my Werewolf 'Verse. Because this is AU I've been playing around with the whole timeline and Sam's abilities. Please review.
Disclaimer: Everything Supernatural related belongs to Eric Kripke and the CW. Lucky bastards.
Most of my information came from Werewolves Powers and Werewolves.

Sam’s head lolled as he slipped back into consciousness, the fuzzy blur slowly disappearing from the corners of his eyes. Sitting up with a start, his hands flew to the tight collar digging into the skin of his neck. The leather was thick, but scratchy from multiple use. Sam could smell the faint traces of old blood.

It was pure training that kept him from panicking, his eyes taking in his surroundings. Sam was encased in a metal cage that was long enough for him to stretch out his legs comfortably, but only tall enough that he would have to crouch slightly at his waist if he wanted to stand. The bars on the door were round while the sides were flat. Metal tubes ran from the ceiling to the top of the cage, held close by brackets.

“There’s no way out. At least from our side.”

Following the voice, Sam scooted to the right side of the cage, his fingers gripping the bars. “What?”

A werewolf not much younger than himself was in an identical cage a few feet away. She had a similar collar around her own neck. “The lock is automatic,” she said in a small, scared voice, her eyes wide in the semidarkness, “I’ve seen them use it.”

Her long dark hair did nothing to hide the bit of dried blood on her face, and her hands were cut and bleeding in the same places as his own.

“I’m Sam. What’s your name?”

“Will the two of you shut the fuck up?” a deeper, older voice hissed from the cage at Sam’s left. There was the rustle of movement as the other man, also a werewolf, sat up. “This isn’t sharing and caring hour. In case you two failed to notice we’re trapped like zoo animals.”

Sam sniffed the air, the other man‘s scent enhanced by week old sweat and grime. Madison’s was cleaner, meaning she hadn’t been here as long. It was the first time that Sam had been around others of his new kind that weren‘t members of his and Dean‘s pack, and he was startled to find how eager he was to learn more about them. “Are you Alvin Jenkins?”

“Yeah that’s me.”

“I’ve been looking for you.” Sam’s voice was slightly bitter like it was Jenkins’ fault he was stuck here.

Alvin laughed. “Yeah? Well you found me. Lot of good it did either of us.” He grumbled under his breath about stupid puppies.

Sam ignored the puppy remark. His thoughts focusing on Dean, somewhere out there looking for him, he turned away from Alvin and he grabbed the top of his cage. Sam lifted his legs and started swinging, slamming his feet as hard as he could against the door with a steady bang, bang, bang! He cursed, dropping back down when the door proved to have no give no matter how hard he kicked.

“Well that was pointless.”

“At least he’s trying!” Madison snapped at Alvin‘s remark. “All you’ve been doing since I was brought here is sleep!”

Any reply Alvin might have had was cut off as the door to the room squeaked open. All three captives backed away to the far ends of their cages, but the two hooded men who entered only approached Alvin’s. Their faces were hidden but the stench that rolled off of them in waves told Sam all he had to know about their gender. He was shocked at the idea that regular humans had successfully caught and caged three werewolves.

Sam watched as one of the men flipped open a door of a box attached to a pillar near the center of the room, and twisted a key inside the lock. There was the metallic click of Alvin’s cage unlocking. The older werewolf was kept back with a stick as a plate of food was placed down. Once the cage was relocked the two men left without a single glance back.

Alvin attacked his food, shoveling the pieces into his mouth like he hadn’t eaten in weeks.

“What do you think they want with us?” Madison’s voice was trembling again.

“What do you think?” Alvin‘s voice was muffled as he continued to eat, bits of food flying out of his mouth with each word. “To be kept as sex slaves or pets or something.”

“I think that‘s the least of our problems,” Sam retorted. He fingered the collar again.

“Shit!” Dean gasped, swerving to avoid the black truck that had suddenly screeched to a halt in front of him. Releasing a string of more colorful curses, he scrambled out of the Impala and stormed towards the man exited the other vehicle. “What the hell is wrong with you, you stupid fucker!”

“Got you to stop, didn’t it?” John retorted. Dean’s reactions had always been quick when it came to his beloved car, not wanting to even get the barest scratch on her. It was knowledge John had used to his advantage on more than one occasion, although he could understand the devotion Dean had for the car. The breath whooshed out of the older Winchester’s lungs as Dean slammed his back into the side of his truck.

“I don’t have time for your games, John! Sammy is--”

“Missing. I know.” John used Dean’s momentary shock to pry the younger man’s hands from his jacket. “He disappeared last night outside of a bar.”

“How the hell did you know about that?”

“Do you really think I haven’t been keeping tabs on the two of you? I told you I’d be back.”

“I’ll pretend to shake in my boots for you later. Right now I have my mate to find.” Dean was momentarily satisfied to see John flinch at the reminder of what his sons had become to each other. He turned away to head back to the Impala, her engine still faithfully purring. Dean’s head swam with where to start. Who or what might have taken Sam and how to get him back.

“I know how to track him down,” John said to Dean’s retreating back.

“I don’t need your help. I can track him myself!”

John grabbed Dean’s sleeve. He ignored the werewolf’s warning growl. “He doesn’t have time for your self-righteous bullshit, Dean. The hunt’s already begun.”

Madison’s breathing was fast and shallow as she rustled about in her cage. Alvin was silent in his own, his back facing Sam. Every few seconds he would clang his empty tray against the metal floor beneath him.

“Try to calm down,” Sam soothed the panicking girl. “It’s going to be okay.”

“How can you say that?” Madison stopped and pressed herself against the bars in an attempt to get as close to Sam as she could. “I was on my way home from work when someone jumped me. I woke up in this cage with a collar around my neck, the smell of blood around us, and strange men wearing hoods and using sticks throwing trays of food at us like pets. No one even knows where we are.”

“My mate is out there,” Sam insisted, having every faith in his brother. Dean had never let him down before, there was no way he believed he‘d start now. Not when Sam needed him so much. He’d tried to contact Dean through their bond, but they were too far away from each other for it to work.

Unconvinced, Madison started to squirm in her cage again. There wasn’t enough room to pace, so she crawled back and forth restlessly.

Sam looked up, studying the metal tubes above him. Reaching through the bars, he gripped a thick one and started to pull as hard as he could. Sam grunted as the tube creaked, then gave way, one of the metal brackets falling to the bottom of the cage at his feet.

There was a buzz, then the clang of the lock to Alvin’s cage sliding open. The older werewolf straightened and pushed the door open with ease. “You must have pulled the right one there, Sammy. I‘ll send help as soon as I‘m out of here.” Ignoring Sam’s protests, he made his way out of the room.

All that was left was the sound of Sam and Madison’s breathing as they didn’t speak, listening to the werewolf’s footsteps fade. All of a sudden there was excited shouts and laughter. Then Alvin was screaming.

“What the hell did you mean by that hunting crap?” Dean demanded, looking at John out of the corner of his eyes. The two of them were riding in the Impala, the black and white camera pictures of the mysterious truck with a new license plate in John’s lap that he’d managed to get from the police. “Do you know who took Sam and Jenkins?”

“I’ve heard of them,” John replied. His eyes were focused out the window, keeping a lookout for any turnoffs where the truck may have disappeared down. “They’re a family of hunters who got a little too much into the job. Decided that it was more fun to hunt supernatural creatures for entertainment purposes rather than to help people.

“Their specialty is werewolves. They track them down and kidnap them, like Sam and others before him. I hear tell they made a special collar for their captives, which prevents them from changing into their wolf forms. More fun if they resemble humans, I guess.”

“How can collars keep them from changing?”

“They’re like electric fences that keep a dog in it’s yard; sending a small but painful charge into the victim if they even attempt to change form.”

Dean gripped the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white at the thought of that collar around Sam’s neck. John looked at Dean’s hands, but didn’t comment on the tension tightening his eldest son’s body.

He looked back out the window in time to see a driveway that was partially overgrown. It was the first turnout he’d seen since they started looking. “Dean, that’s it. Pull over.”

“I’m scared,” Madison whispered, breaking the silence that had been stretching on since Alvin’s screams had faded into nothing. “Whatever happened to him, we’re next aren’t we.”

“No,” Sam replied. “No. You can’t think like that, Madison. Alright? We’re getting out of here. Trust me.”

“Sam..” she sniffled, unashamed of the tear that fell down her cheek, “I hate being a monster. I.. I’ve killed people. I didn’t even know it until I woke up. I just want to be me again. I want to be normal.”

That word seemed to be showing up a lot lately in Sam’s life. It was a mockery of how he once wanted to be.

“I used to think like that,” he said. “When I first became a werewolf, I was angry at myself and my mate. I bitched and moaned about how much I hated it; about the future I’d thought I’d wanted but lost the moment I was bitten. Don’t you see, Madison? It’s not the end just because we’re different. You can fight the instinct to kill, and you can live however you want to.”

There was a long, pregnant pause. “Your mate. She keep you safe?”

“We keep each other safe.” Sam smirked a little at Dean being called a girl, but didn’t correct the mistake.

Madison smiled a little bitterly. “Must be nice. I don’t have a mate. I don’t have anyone.”

Sam shook his head. “Madison, right now? You’ve got me. We’re in this together, and I‘m not going to let anything happen to you.”

Dean reached up his hand, fingering the leather still around Sam’s neck as the younger man bandaged up his poker burn. “You know,” he said conversationally, “under different circumstances this collar thing could be really kinky. Ow! Damn it, Sam, not so hard!”

“Baby,” Sam rolled his eyes. He lightened his touch anyway, sliding his fingers over the tape that would keep the gauze down. “You’re lucky this’ll heal in no time, or else you’d be out of commission for a while.” He moved his attention to Dean’s wrist and the angry red mark that was a perfect circle just below his hand.

“John handcuffed me to the car handle,” Dean grumbled.

Sam laughed. “Bondage now, huh, and you called the collar kinky?”

“Shut up and hold still.” Dean hooked his fingers between the collar and Sam’s neck, yanking the younger man close. With his free hand, he grabbed one of their knives and slid it in next to his fingers. With a quick flick of his wrist, the collar gave way under the sharp blade and fell harmlessly to the floor.

Sam kicked it aside, muttering under his breath about psycho hunters. “Do you think Madison will be okay?”

Dean just barely resisted the urge to roll his eyes. The girl held her own against the Bender brothers and their father, he’d give her that. His impression of her quickly soured as soon as it was over and she asked if she could go with him and Sam on the road. She’d been watching Sam when she said it, a mixture of hope and admiration in her dark eyes so intense it made Sam squirm. Annoyed at the obvious beginnings of an attempt at flirtation, Dean thought his own answer was pretty clear:

“Not in this lifetime, sweetheart.”

Sam settled on Dean’s lap, his brother’s hands moving to cup his ass. “What’s the matter? Jealous?” Sam tilted his head as Dean nuzzled the collar mark on his neck, the skin slightly bruised. “Didn’t trust me around her?”

“Sam,” Dean’s voice was low in warning.

Sam chuckled, running a hand through the other man’s short cropped hair. He rubbed his hips against Dean’s lap, feeling his cock harden against his own.

Dean moaned, his fingers flexing on Sam’s ass. Although Sam had mostly forgiven him for cheating on him with Kate, he‘d still refused to have any kind of sex. Until now. Dean dipped one finger into the crevice between Sam’s cheeks, rubbing at his entrance through the fabric of his jeans.

“No.” Sam broke away, sliding off of Dean’s lap. He ignored Dean’s whine and attempt to pull him back, dropping to his knees on the floor. Sam pulled Dean’s legs apart, sliding his hands over his brother’s thighs to the front of his pants as he moved closer.

Dean slid his fingers into Sam’s hair, massaging the back of his head as his pants were opened. He watched hungrily as his hard cock slipped passed Sam’s parted lips to the heat of his mouth. Dean moaned, his fingers tightening in the soft strands of Sam’s hair.

Sam took Dean in as far as he could, feeling the thick mushroom head touching the back of his throat. He started moving his head back and forth at a snail’s pace, swirling his tongue around the length as he withdrew and sucking hard as he took it back in. His eyes remained open, the green depths dark with lust.

Dean started panting, one of his hands moving from Sam’s hair to caress his face. He could feel his cock moving in his brother’s mouth, poking the younger man’s cheek as Sam turned his head.

“You’re so good at this, Sammy,” he purred, his hips giving small, eager thrusts. “I love it when you suck my dick. Such a pretty little slut for me.”

Sam moaned at the words, his hand going down to the front of his jeans. He pressed the heal of his hand against the bulge between his legs.

Dean started thrusting harder, pulling the slightly curly hair at Sam’s nape to make his brother tilt his head back more. His panting and husky moans echoed off the walls of their motel room like surround sound, accompanied by the wet sucking sound emitting from Sam‘s reddened lips. Dean grasped the base of his cock as Sam let go to open his pants, his other hand staying on the back of the younger man’s head. He guided Sam to bob faster, matching the thrust of his hips.

Sam rubbed the flat of his tongue along the vein at the bottom of Dean’s cock as his hands worked furiously to open his jeans. His own cock popped eagerly out of the opened fabric, sticking out of the slit of his boxers. Sam cupped himself in his hand, jerking fast and hard to match the rhythm his mouth had on his brother’s dripping length.

Dean’s thighs stiffening was Sam’s only warning before hot spurts of thick, ropey semen was splashing into his mouth. He backed off so just the head was passed his lips, letting Dean’s release land on his tongue.

Pulling his spent cock out of Sam’s mouth with a wet pop, Dean yanked his brother up to his knees and kissed him hard, shoving his tongue in where his dick had just been. Dean and Sam moaned together as they shared Dean’s cum between them, tongues sliding together.

Sam gasped as he came against his own belly and hand. He pulled back from the kiss with a whimper, continuing to lazily stroke himself until he was completely spent.

Sam complied as Dean pulled him up onto the bed. Ignoring the mess, they laid with Dean spooned behind Sam, his arm around his brother’s waist.

“Hmm?” the older man sounded half asleep already.

“Why do you think dad helped us?”

“First of all don’t call him that. Second, how the hell should I know?”

“He still must care, Dean. Besides he killed the father, using that lame ‘he tried to escape’ excuse. He didn‘t even threaten us this time as he left. It‘s weird.”

Dean grumbled under his breath. “You think too much. Now shut the fuck up and go to sleep, Sam. When we wake up I fully intend on fucking you into the mattress. You‘re going to need all the rest you can get.”

I've never been fond of Madison so that was pretty easy for me to have Dean put her in her place xD glad you liked it =)

I LOVE this verse! I love the way they refer to each other as mates (very hot). I love the way the sex is so animalistic and possessive and intense (hotness goes without saying). And I love the way you're working some of the episodic stuff in. [Any chance of a touch of Faith? I'd love to see a wittle hurt!Dean about now!] And I love that John, in his own John way, is trying. And I really love that the Dean here is no longer John's soldier boy. I love the boy love. I just love!
kiraynnkiraynn on August 14th, 2007 04:07 pm (UTC)
thank you! I'm glad you feel the love ;) I adore hurt!Dean almost as much as hurt!Sammy, so on that note I will not disappoint. oh geez, I actually gave a spoiler! I'm so ashamed of myself xD

Never liked Madison. At least here she got to live. Which she wouldn't've for long if she had tried to put the moves on Sam in front of Dean. I mean who invites themselves along with a guy and his mate?
kiraynnkiraynn on August 14th, 2007 04:09 pm (UTC)
in my opinion, Madison and the whole Heart episode were both total wastes of space. just an excuse to get Sammy laid (as hot as that was). yeah girl or no Dean'd totally take her out if she tried anything xD

YAY! It's been almost forever and a day since you've updated! And now... YAY! :D (Go Possesive!DEAN 'not in this lifetime, sweetheart' LOL)

I like how you intergrated Madison AND the Benders into this... very awesome.

(plus, wanna know some WEIRD trivia? LOL... I was at this store in my town and was looking through this 'Weird USA' book.. apparentley, there was a REAL family named Benders and they would kidnap people, torture them, and burry them in their back yard.. LOL point being, I guess most if ALL of the shows episodes stem from real life myths... very, very cool! And here I jus thought it was a few, lol*

ANYWAYS.... an awesome installment, as usual. Love your series, makes me soo happy! :D

Dean and Sam as werewolves is DAMN! DAMN! HOT! each part more yummy then the last. I like how werewolve Dean isn't Daddy's little soldier boy anymore. Now I am curious why John helped them out.

I am in LOVE with this series. It's always a highlight to my day to see a new chapter. Go wolf-chesters!!!! *G*

Question: I'm making you a banner for this story, and I actually don't know what colour Sam and Dean are. I know the wolves are black and white, but who's who? Sorry...I must have missed it somewhere, but I'd love to hear from you so I get it straight.

Thanks a bunch!

kiraynnkiraynn on August 15th, 2007 11:40 pm (UTC)
a banner for the wolfy verse?? oh squee! thank you! =D I've been asked what color they are before, but unfortunately there's no real answer. everyone sees the wolf versions of the brothers as different so I decided it was better if the reader decides. but if that makes the banner too difficult, you can feel free to decide which is which =) thanks again! I'm so looking forward to seeing it ;D
